Introduction
The safety and security of our
employees and their families is of ultimate concern to Moran. It is
important that Moran, its employees, and their families
prepare in advance and have a plan in place to help ensure safety
and security in the event of an emergency or a disaster such as a
hurricane. Preparation is the key to managing through these
emergencies and disasters because they can strike quickly and with
little or no warning.
Communication is one critical aspect of
emergency and disaster planning that is often taken for granted.
Moran understands how important it is for the welfare of employees
and their families to access a line of communication during these
times.
This page has been established to help ensure that our employees and family members have up to date information
in the event of a Natural Disaster or other Emergency that affects
one or more of our port operations.
Should such an event occur, we would post relevant useful
information on this website that might be of help to you.
Should it become necessary we will add appropriate Important
Phone Numbers and directions for use on the panel at right.
Using this link to
the main contacts page, you can make e-mail requests for
information or assistance from people at Moran who are ready and
willing to help in any way they can. Moran has developed
contingency plans that may allow us to provide you with emergency
supplies or assistance in the immediate aftermath of a Natural
Disaster or Emergency.
In past events we have also used this page as a way to allow
families to see and read the ship to shore communications from their
family members who may be working on Moran equipment during the event.
In the event of a Natural Disaster or Emergency we will update this page periodically as we receive information that may be useful to you.
