Moran conducts ongoing training programs in each of its ports of operation,
encompassing safety, environmental responsibility, maritime and business skills,
skills-upgrading, and employee advancement. Numerous programs make extensive use
of state-of-the-art tugboat simulators. In addition to technical skills, safety and
quality, the programs build efficiency, sound corporate culture and employee
retention.

We actively foster the professional growth and advancement of our employees through
the company's ranks with strategically structured programs. A number of these, such
as Bridge Resource Management, Supervisor Training, and Captains Meetings, are
designed to help deck crew advance to officer ratings. All ratings receive
continuing education aimed at reducing injuries and accidents, ensuring
conformance with Moran's Operations and Policies Procedures Manual, and
maintaining compliance with Government and industry standards and regulations. |
