William E Moran Begins Operations in New York, Expanding Moran’s High-Performance Fleet
The William E Moran, a new high-performance ASD Tractor tug built by Master Boat Builders and designed by Robert Allan Ltd., has entered service in New York as part of Moran’s fleet renewal strategy. Measuring 92 feet with over 80 metric tons of bollard pull, it features Tier IV Caterpillar engines, ABS Escort-rating, and advanced technologies for safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, including LEV certification and Starlink connectivity. Additional vessels of this class are under construction to further enhance Moran’s maritime capabilities.
