MER is a Partner member of Green Marine, a voluntary environmental certification program for the North American marine industry. It is a rigorous, transparent, and inclusive initiative that addresses critical environmental issues through its 12 performance indicators. In 2019, we also became a member of the Green Business Bureau, which provides the framework and certification guiding the Company’s environmentally sustainable business practices and initiatives. Our businesses are tightly connected to the practice of sustainability as our day to day work focuses on waste recovery, coastal research and analysis, spill response, and beneficial reuse of hazardous waste.
